Founder and group chief executive chairman of Rembawang Holdings Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Kamisah Johan was recognised for her continious commitment and contributions to Corporate Social Responsibility by receiving the award for the SME/Personality category at the CSR Malaysia Award 2018.
Organized by ‘CSR Malaysia’ magazine, a free publication under RHA Media Sdn Bhd in support of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, the CSR Malaysia Award 2018 luncheon in Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur was attended by 450 corporate personalities and foreign dignitaries.

Dato’ Kamisah Johan received the award from guest of honour Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Sri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Deputy Prime Minister cum Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, who honoured 34 Malaysian companies, listed and private for their efforts.
The award is given in appreciation of Dato’ Kamisah’s long-standing commitment and active involvement in corporate social responsibility, supporting numerous worthy causes, from animal wellfare to reducing food shortage and providing poverty-ridden families with educational, medical and meal assistance, among others.
“I am honoured to receive this award and would like to express my utmost gratitute to CSR Malaysia for this recognition. Giving back to the community is something I am very passionate about and it’s also a core value at my company” – Dato’ Kamisah Johan.
